Wrexham rock band Rogue Angels is set to release a new five-track EP, 'Right Side of Midnight', on 14 August 2026. The record will be available on major streaming platforms and as a limited CD run.
The band, which evolved from former Wrexham outfit Gung Ho, consists of vocalist Mikey 'Dream' Clorley-Jones, guitarists Ian Edwards and Joe Evans, bassist Dominic Gallagher, and drummer Darren Collins.
Earlier this year, Rogue Angels was shortlisted for Best Band at the 2026 Radio WigWam Awards, held at The Bedford in Balham, London. The band has also partnered with Wrexham City Radio for a giveaway on the Michael Venables Rock show, offering two tickets to their support slot with Sabbra Cadabra at The Tivoli, Buckley on 23 October, plus a free copy of the EP.
The band said: 'We've always believed in writing songs that people can connect with. Rogue Angels is about taking everything we've learned and creating music we genuinely believe in, while representing where we come from.' They added: 'Being from Wrexham is a huge part of who we are. We're proud of our roots and it's fantastic to be able to take our music further afield while still representing our hometown.'
Upcoming live dates include the EP release show on 1 August, performances at the Late Lounge in Rhyl on 22 August, and at G21 Bar at The Saddle Chester. On 9 October, the band will support Orion Pax at Deutch's Bar Rhyl, ahead of a gig at The Tivoli in Buckley in January 2027.
