MUMBAI: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Tuesday sent toy Toyota Innovas to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner, in a symbolic protest over the civic body's vehicle upgrade policy.
The move comes amid a row over the BMC's decision to upgrade its fleet of vehicles, which the MNS claims is unnecessary and wasteful.
The toy cars were handed over at the BMC headquarters, with MNS workers raising slogans against the civic administration.
The BMC commissioner has not yet responded to the protest.
