The story follows Go Eunsae (Ha Young), an amnesiac prosecutor, who loses her memory after a freak accident while tracking a crime syndicate led by Baek Sanggil (Heo Sung Tae). She encounters Jang Taeha (Jung Hae In), a former youth boxing champion and gang member who now works as a small-town coach.
Taeha, whose first love was Eunsae, claims to be her boyfriend to protect her from Sanggil, who is hunting her because she knows his weakness. They begin living together in a countryside village known for yeot (traditional Korean taffy shops), sparking a quirky romance.
Jung Hae In praised Ha Young's passion and energy, saying she portrayed Go Eunsae with delicacy and was a tremendous help. Ha Young said she learned a lot from Jung Hae In, noting their discussions on making the characters more lovable and heart-fluttering.
