Fota Wildlife Park attracted 428,745 visitors in 2024. Located on 100 acres at Fota Island, 10 km east of Cork City, the park hosts 30 mammal species and 50 bird species, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, meerkats, and penguins. It opened in June 1983 and celebrated four decades of conservation in 2023.
